Delayed withdrawals: how to check your request

Quick answer

Check the last confirmed stage: request submitted, approved, payment sent or money received.

If a withdrawal is late, check the request status first. Approval, payment and receipt are separate stages, each potentially with its own timeframe. Knowing where the transfer has stopped makes it easier to ask the operator for the right information.

Do not rush to cancel

Submitting again will not necessarily be faster. Cancellation may restart the review or return the money to your playing balance. First ask the operator what is happening to the current request and how resubmission works.

Understanding statuses

Status shownWhat is knownWhat to ask
Created / pendingThe system has received the requestReview timeframe and when it starts
Under reviewAn additional stage is involvedWhich check is needed and what is missing
ApprovedThe operator has made its decisionWhen payment will be sent
Sent / paidThe operator records payment as sentPayment confirmation and the method’s crediting timeframe
RejectedThe request was not completedExact reason and how to correct it

Status names and meanings vary between operators. The table shows possible stages, but consult the project’s help pages for exact definitions. This matters especially for ‘paid’, which may mean the money has been sent.

Details you will need

Collect the request number, amount, currency, method and creation time. Add the current status, when it changed and the timeframe in the rules. Hide personal and payment details in screenshots for public reports.

If documents were requested, record the submission date and confirmation of receipt. Do not attach a passport or statement to a public complaint or review. Documents belong in the operator’s secure channel.

A crypto payment may have a transaction ID. This helps check the asset, network, address and transaction status. If payment has not been confirmed and there is no ID, you cannot establish a blockchain-related cause for the delay.

Calculating the timeframe

Take a fictional process allowing up to 24 hours for review and up to two working days for receipt after payment. The request is created at 18:00 on Friday, approved on Saturday and sent on Monday. Here, the bank’s period begins when payment is sent, not on Friday evening.

Check the time zone, weekends and starting event in your method’s rules. ‘Usually’ describes a typical timeframe, not a precise maximum. If separate timeframes are missing, ask support.

If the reply says ‘under review’, ask what remains to be checked, whether documents or other action are needed from you and when to expect a decision. Naming a check alone does not explain the next step.

A message support can answer specifically

Send the details of one transaction and a specific question instead of “where is my money?” Keep unrelated deposits and game results out of the same request. A status screenshot helps, but the request ID, amount and time usually make the record easier to locate.

Example

Subject: withdrawal … — please confirm the processing stage. Requested on … at …, time zone …; amount …, currency …, method … . Current account status: … . Documents uploaded on …, receipt confirmed on … . Please specify any outstanding action required from me and the time frame under terms clause … . If the payment has been sent, please provide its reference for a trace with the payment provider.

If no substantive answer arrives, distinguish a formal complaint from an ordinary chat message: find the official procedure, address and case number. For British licensees, UKGC describes referral to independent ADR after the operator’s complaints process, including when it remains unresolved after eight weeks. Eight weeks is not a normal withdrawal time. Other licences may use a different procedure. Source

If the conversation gets nowhere

Find the operator’s published complaints process and follow it. Save your message, the date and the reply. Further external review depends on the project’s country and licence.

Do not send money for ‘expediting’, ‘insurance’ or ‘unlocking’ to details in an unsolicited message. First verify the request through the official account area and terms. A new deposit does not itself resolve an old withdrawal delay.

If you leave a review, describe the sequence: country, method, dates, statuses, operator requests and outcome. This helps other readers understand the situation and lets our editors check information about the project.

Key points

  1. Request details

Keep the number, amount, currency, withdrawal method and dates. Hide personal details in public reports.

  2. The published timeframe

Check which event starts it, whether weekends count and which time zone applies.

  3. Contacting support

Ask about the unfinished stage and any action needed from you. Save the reply and support reference.

Questions on this topic

Should I cancel and submit again?

Find out the cause first. Resubmitting may restart the process, so do not cancel without clarifying what it will do.

Does ‘paid’ mean the money is in my bank?

It depends on the operator’s definition. It may mean payment was sent, with the payment service’s processing period still to follow.

What should I include in a support request?

The request number and date, amount, currency, method, current status and a link to the published timeframe. Add the support conversation history. Send personal documents only through a secure method; CVV and banking codes are not needed to describe a delay.

Check withdrawal terms

Find the method and timeframe for your region in the review, then compare them with your request.
