Multiply the amount specified in the terms by the wagering multiplier. Then check game contributions and other restrictions.
A wagering requirement tells you how much you need to bet to clear a bonus. A figure such as ×30 is not enough on its own: you need to know which amount it applies to. For a ₽1,000 bonus, ×30 on the bonus means ₽30,000 in bets. If the calculation includes both a ₽1,000 deposit and a ₽1,000 bonus, the requirement becomes ₽60,000.
What counts towards wagering
Wagering is the total of qualifying bets. You do not need to deposit that entire amount: money returned from one round can be used in the next. Your balance may still run out before you meet the requirement. The required betting total does not tell you how much you will spend or lose.
Write down the deposit, the bonus credited and the amount to which the multiplier applies. The last two are not always the same. If the terms do not identify the calculation base, ask support before activating the offer. Without it, you cannot work out the requirement accurately.
One bet, three cascades
In Sweet Bonanza, winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall into their places. The sequence continues while winning combinations appear. Several payouts on screen can make one round look like several separate bets. Source
| Event | Debit | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Round starts | ₽20 | ₽0 |
| First combination | ₽0 | ₽8 |
| Next cascade | ₽0 | ₽12 |
| Last cascade | ₽0 | ₽30 |
Here the stake is ₽20 and the payout is ₽50, giving a net result of +₽30. With an assumed 100% contribution, ₽20 would count towards wagering. Three payouts do not turn that into ₽60 in qualifying bets. This illustrates the accounting, not an actual play session; the promotion determines the real game contribution.
How game contributions affect the calculation
Suppose you have ₽10,000 left to wager. In a slot with a 100% contribution, a ₽100 bet adds the full ₽100 to your progress. At 20%, only ₽20 counts. Completing the remaining requirement would take ₽10,000 or ₽50,000 in total bets respectively.
At a 0% contribution, bets do not advance the counter at all. The terms may also list excluded games. Check both rules: a game that contributes nothing may still be allowed, whereas an excluded game cannot be played with the active bonus.
Progress sometimes updates only after a round ends. If a bet has not appeared in the counter, check your history and the accounting rules. There is no need to raise the stake to test it.
Restrictions to check
- Maximum bet. The bonus limit applies even if the game itself lets you bet more.
- Wagering deadline. Find the exact event that starts the clock: activation, the bonus being credited, or receipt of its final instalment.
- Maximum withdrawal. An offer may have a separate limit after wagering; the multiplier does not tell you what it is.
- Cancelling the bonus. Check what happens to bonus funds, winnings and your own balance if you cancel the offer or withdraw early.
Consider these rules alongside your budget and the time you have set aside. Do not increase your spending or extend a session simply to finish wagering a bonus.
Comparing two offers
Calculate both bonuses using the same deposit. Even with the same multiplier, a 200% bonus can require more wagering than a 100% bonus. Then compare game contributions, deadlines, maximum bets and withdrawal limits.
RTP will not tell you the exact cost of clearing a bonus: it does not predict the result of a particular run of bets. The Bonusmulti calculator works out the requirement from the terms you enter. It does not estimate your chance of completing it.
Ask support about unclear terms and save the reply. For example: ‘With a ₽2,000 deposit and a ₽1,000 bonus, how much do I need to wager? Which games count in full? What happens to my money if I cancel the bonus?’ Keep a copy of the offer rules that the answer refers to.
Calculate your own terms
Calculate the required turnover
Turnover is the sum of qualifying bets, not a required deposit or a guaranteed expense. Check game contributions and other restrictions in the rules.
Key points
Which amount is multiplied?
Check whether the requirement applies to the bonus, the deposit plus bonus, or free-spin winnings.
How much will you receive?
Calculate the bonus for your deposit and account for the maximum bonus amount.
What else is restricted?
Check game contributions, the deadline, the maximum bet, and the rules for withdrawals or cancelling the bonus.
Questions on this topic
Do I need to deposit the whole wagering amount?
No. Wagering is based on the total of qualifying bets. It is not an additional deposit and does not predict your future losses.
Is comparing ×25 and ×40 enough?
Check the calculation base first. If the bases differ, even the lower multiplier may require more betting. The other restrictions matter too.
How do I calculate ×30, ×40 or ×50?
Multiply the amount specified in the terms by the wagering multiplier. If it applies only to a ₽500 bonus, the requirement is ₽15,000 at ×30, ₽20,000 at ×40 and ₽25,000 at ×50. These are teaching examples; game contributions, deadlines and maximum bets need to be checked separately.
