Check which amount the wagering multiplier applies to: the bonus alone or the deposit plus bonus. For example, ×30 on ₽1,000 means ₽30,000 in bets; ×30 on ₽2,000 means ₽60,000.
Two bonuses can both say “×30” yet require different betting totals. One casino may multiply just the bonus amount; another may include your deposit as well. For free spins, the requirement may apply to the winnings. The examples below show the difference.
Which amount goes into the formula?
Multiply the amount named in the offer terms by the wagering multiplier. That amount may be the bonus alone, the deposit plus bonus, or free-spin winnings. Do not substitute the balance left after playing. Then check how much of each bet counts towards the requirement.
Same multiplier, different requirement
Suppose you deposit ₽2,000 and receive another ₽2,000 from a 100% bonus. Both fictional offers have a ×30 requirement, applied to different amounts.
| Parameter | Bonus only | Deposit + bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Your deposit | ₽2,000 | ₽2,000 |
| Bonus credited | ₽2,000 | ₽2,000 |
| Amount to multiply | ₽2,000 | ₽4,000 |
| Multiplier | ×30 | ×30 |
| Qualifying wagering required | ₽60,000 | ₽120,000 |
The second case requires twice as much wagering. That does not tell you how much you will lose: the game result is unknown and your balance may run out before the requirement is met.
A 50% bonus on the same ₽2,000 deposit would credit ₽1,000. At ×30 on the bonus, the requirement is ₽30,000; at ×30 on the deposit plus bonus, it is ₽90,000. The difference is now threefold because the bonus size also affects the comparison.
Bonus ×40 or deposit plus bonus ×25
Use the same ₽2,000 deposit for both offers. Offer A gives a 100% bonus with ×40 on the bonus alone. Offer B gives 50%, with ×25 on the deposit plus bonus. The smaller multiplier does not by itself tell you which requires less betting.
| Calculation | Offer A | Offer B |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus credited | ₽2,000 | ₽1,000 |
| Amount to multiply | ₽2,000 | ₽3,000 |
| Required turnover | 2,000 × 40 = ₽80,000 | 3,000 × 25 = ₽75,000 |
Offer B requires ₽5,000 less turnover here even though the deposit must be wagered too. A different bonus percentage changes the result. If the chosen game contributes 20% in Offer B, the required actual bets become 75,000 ÷ 0.2 = ₽375,000. Comparing ×40 with ×25 alone is unhelpful, but “deposit plus bonus is always worse” is not a reliable shortcut either.
Allowing for game contributions
The formula gives the amount that must count towards the requirement. If bets contribute less than their full value, you will need more of them. For example, ₽60,000 of qualifying wagering requires ₽120,000 in bets at a 50% contribution, or ₽300,000 at 20%.
Divide the required wagering by the contribution rate: 0.5 for 50%, or 0.2 for 20%. At 0%, the calculation does not apply because the game adds no progress. Also check that it is allowed with the active bonus.
If you play several game categories, calculate each contribution separately. Bets totalling ₽5,000 at 100% and ₽10,000 at 20% contribute 5,000 + 2,000 = ₽7,000. Simply adding all bets together would be wrong.
Where to find the amount in the rules
Open the detailed terms for the offer. Look for wording about the bonus amount, the deposit plus bonus, or free-spin winnings. Check the deposit number too: the first and second stages may have different rules.
If a card says ×30 but the detailed terms say ×40, check the date, region and offer version. Ask support to explain the difference with a specific example: ‘For a ₽2,000 deposit and ₽2,000 bonus, is the requirement ₽60,000 or ₽120,000?’ Save the answer and the terms.
What to check after calculating
The deadline, maximum bet, game contributions and withdrawal limit still matter. Even a small requirement may not suit you if time is short or your preferred games are excluded.
Do not increase your budget or playing time to meet the requirement. You can decline an offer; before cancelling, check what happens to bonus funds, winnings and your own money.
Save the calculation with the offer name, country, currency and date of the terms. That will identify the version it refers to if the rules change later.
Calculate your own terms
Calculate the required turnover
Turnover is the sum of qualifying bets, not a required deposit or a guaranteed expense. Check game contributions and other restrictions in the rules.
Key points
Which amount to multiply
Find the exact rule for your bonus stage, country and currency.
Use the same deposit
Calculate the bonus credited. If the rules include your deposit, add it before applying the wagering multiplier.
Your game’s contribution
Divide the required betting total by the contribution rate. A game contributing 0% cannot clear the requirement.
Questions on this topic
Can I calculate wagering from my current balance?
Only if the offer explicitly says so. The terms usually name a particular amount, such as the original bonus or deposit plus bonus.
How do I handle games with different contributions?
Multiply the total bets in each category by its contribution rate, then add the results. That gives the wagering the operator should count.
How does ×35 work with a deposit and bonus of ₽1,000 each?
In this fictional example, ×35 on the bonus alone gives ₽35,000 in required bets. If the requirement applies to the deposit plus bonus, it becomes ₽70,000. The offer rules determine which applies.
