Understanding the slot specifications
- Max Win
- The payout ceiling in the game rules, usually a bet multiplier. It is a limit, not a typical outcome.
- RTP
- The theoretical return over a very large number of rounds. A game may have different RTP versions; the percentage does not predict a session.
- Volatility
- The spread of outcomes. High volatility generally means sharper swings; it does not by itself increase RTP.
- Bonus buy
- Paid access to a bonus feature without waiting for the regular trigger. Price and availability depend on the game and version.
- Ante Bet
- A higher cost per regular spin for a changed chance of triggering a feature. This is a separate mode, rather than a bonus-round purchase.
- Respins
- Additional spins that may retain some symbols or accumulated conditions. The exact behaviour follows the slot rules.
The Hand of Midas — game overview
The Hand of Midas uses miniature reels to select free spins and retains golden-hand wilds during the feature.
What turns to gold
Midas turns winning paylines to gold. The 5 × 3 grid mixes kings, chests, amphorae and card symbols, while a golden W helps connect matches on twenty-five paylines. It appears on the three middle reels and substitutes for ordinary symbols. The golden hand holding a coin is a different symbol: a Scatter that opens free spins.
In normal play, a Wild also raises the win multiplier by a random ×1, ×2 or ×3. Multiple Wild increments add together. The idea develops further in the feature, where helpful positions no longer disappear after every spin.

Free spins that can continue after reaching zero
Three, four or five Scatters start the mini-reels, three for each golden hand. Every mini-reel awards one through three spins. A three-Scatter trigger therefore gives 9–27 free spins, four gives 12–36 and five gives 15–45.
Feature Wilds stay in place and continue raising the shared multiplier. The round also has a minimum result of 10×, 20× or 30× the stake according to the entry Scatter count. If spins run out before that threshold is reached, the mini-reels add more. The feature gains extra time to develop its grid.
Bonus round1
Three purchase options
Entry with three, four or five Scatters costs 100×, 200× or 300× the stake. A dearer option raises the possible starting spin count and feature minimum. Mini-reels still choose the allocation: “up to 36” does not mean every entry awards exactly thirty-six.
The feature minimum is substantially below the purchase cost. For a four-Scatter entry, for example, the 20× threshold does not cover its 200× price. It is a round mechanic rather than protection against losing the purchase amount.
