The feature adds more special symbols
In Legacy of Dead, wealth continues to trouble a departed king. His return from an Egyptian book supplies the theme for expanding finds. The ordinary tomb substitutes for symbols, while selected types can occupy whole reels during free spins.
The tomb acts as wild and scatter. The initial feature selects one special symbol, which fills its reels when enough appear to pay; those reels need not be adjacent.

Building a set of expanding symbols
Three or more tomb scatters trigger 8 free spins and randomly select one expanding symbol. Another three scatters add 8 spins and a new special symbol. Expansion occurs when enough of that symbol lands to form a winning combination, even on non-adjacent reels.
The main difference from Book of Dead appears on a retrigger: another expanding symbol joins the active set, while the previous one stays available. Later spins can therefore contain several special types. Each still needs to meet its own expansion conditions; a lone premium symbol does not automatically fill its reel.
A second special type expands the possibilities of later turns without removing the first. Conditions develop as well as duration. Each new arrangement is evaluated using all special types activated during the sequence.
